MOTION PICTURE

MOVING IMAGES

This short film was a project I did for one of my 2nd-year class projects. Through cinematography, I portrayed what it's like to be in constant fear of being lonely.

The  Advertisement, I was part of creating within a group where we criticize how menstrual product ads are made. Pad/tampon brand advertisements are continuously beautifying and making the menstrual cycle appear more beautiful and elegant than they are. This is due to the social taboo that surrounds the period. The idea that it is dirty, tortures, and limits women from doing normal activities. This explains why ads beautify periods, in order to appeal to their audience, they have to fill the contradiction that is connected with having periods.

Lastly, this is a project where I was working as a sound designer re-establishing an existing story with the use of sound.
